'Ferguson protesters' take lead in Time's Person of the Year poll

Among those in the running to be named Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” are Ferguson protesters, and according to a poll they are currently in the lead:

TIME’s Person of the Year is selected by the editors but voting from the public, which goes on for another week, is taken into consideration.

@TIME Way for people to celebrate rioters, looters and destroyers. Then again, Time did have Hitler and Stalin as man of the year.

@ReignOfApril Technically yes but Time doesn't always follow the vote. (Last year Abdul Fattah al-Sisi won but the Pope was picked at PofY.)
