President Obama vowed last month to look into the terrible scandal where some VA scheduling systems were gamed to put veterans on secret wait lists. It was a wait that turned out to be fatal for many.
Because solutions to fix the problem have been slow in being implemented, the National Journal’s Ron Fournier has an idea that would definitely speed things along:
RESOLVED: No member of Congress or the Sr WH staff will accept a paycheck until the #VA backlog is eliminated.

@instapundit @ron_fournier How about no pay for the VA officials responsible until the backlog is eliminated? They can live on their bonuses

@ron_fournier I go along with that. Also would like to see people arrested, but then I am an optimist.

@ron_fournier As long as we get to freeze the pensions of those causing more vets to need services. #justsaying

Maybe the idea should apply across-the-board:
@ron_fournier Why stop with the VA? Apply that to everything and most issues will be resolved by the morning.

Worth a try?
