Earlier today, Vox.com, which purportedly exists to boil down the facts into easy to digest explanations, published a post titled “What are Israel and Palestine? Why are they fighting?”
A Washington Free Beacon fact check of just the first of over two dozen pages found the Vox piece riddled with errors:
Four Pinocchios for Vox ‘Explainer’ on ‘Everything You Need to Know About Israel-Palestine’ http://t.co/BKJlEq5mSY

That Free Beacon Israel/Palestinian thing on Vox is so damn funny.

It wasn’t funny to everybody. The author of the “Voxsplanation,” Zack Beauchamp, pointed out that the Free Beacon’s fact check didn’t … name a specific author:

Not exactly a sweeping defense of his “facts” in the Israel-Palestine piece at Vox.

Motherfucker, you just got pantsed and your reaction is “why didn’t they put a name on it?” @zackbeauchamp

@RBPundit "Pantsed" That pretty well sums it up. Truth is hard. @zackbeauchamp

.@RBPundit @zackbeauchamp I'd be embarrassed to admit I was the one who wrote that crap at JuiceVox.

@RBPundit @zackbeauchamp I suppose it's akin to asking if anyone got the license plate of the bus that hit you.

I feel sorry for you, @zackbeauchamp. You basically wrote a 5th grade book report and then got fact-checked by a tenured professor. #ouch

@zackbeauchamp You should take a bow, Zack. Your piece is not the worst I have read on the subject. Very close, but not the worst.

A possible reason the Free Beacon’s shredding of the Vox piece on Israel-Palestine listed “staff” instead of an individual author was offered:
@zackbeauchamp Or it took several people just to wade through all the inaccuracies.
