It’s getting impossible to tell the difference between mainstream media reports about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and tweets from lefties such as California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Here are a couple of recent Newsom attempts to take the focus off his own state while re-defining “freedom”:

If we need even more proof that a large segment of the media and the Dems work hand-in-hand, the Washington Post editorial board’s new piece is indiscernible from a DNC press release:

The editorial closes this way:
Bryan Griffin, a spokesman for Mr. DeSantis, says Mr. DeSantis is fighting to keep Florida “free from things like” critical race theory; diversity, equity and inclusion programs; and “medical authoritarianism that can force ineffective covid vaccines on people.”
Now Mr. DeSantis wants to go national. He promises to “Make America Florida.” If the bullying coming out of Tallahassee is an indication of what that means, we think most Americans won’t want what he is offering.
The roadblock the lefty media and Dems run into each and every time in trying this approach is that people are fleeing blue states to move to Florida (and Texas, etc).

One of these days I’ll have to create a “who said it, Gavin Newsom or lib media” game. The Post couldn’t be more predictable and they’ve earned one of those “state-affiliated media” tags from Twitter.
