French Embassy U.S. makes a hilarious mockery of the AP's now-deleted style guide update

Earlier we passed along some of the mockeries being sent in the direction of the Associated Press over their explanation for a deleted tweet. Here’s the text of the tweet the AP deleted:

We recommend avoiding general and often dehumanizing “the” labels such as the poor, the mentally ill, the French, the disabled, the college-educated. Instead, use wording such as people with mental illnesses. And use these descriptions only when clearly relevant.

The French Embassy (oops, I violated the AP’s style guide there) saw that and responded accordingly:

“Embassy of Frenchness in the U.S.” Well played!
