The “we need to stop all the misinformation” crowd was really spreading some BS yesterday on the second anniversary of the January 6th riot at the Capitol. I’ve already talked about what President Biden said about Capitol Police Officer William Evans, who was killed in the line of duty early in 2021:
“Three months after January 6th while they were still cordoning off the Capitol because of threats by the sick insurrectionists continued to profligate on the internet. Again all of America saw what happened, when officer Evans was killed defending a checkpoint you had to go through to get up to the Capitol, because of these godawful sick threats.”
Biden clearly wanted everybody to think that the horrible death of officer Evans was because of “sick insurrectionists,” but the truth of the matter is that the Capitol Police officer was killed by a Farrakhan follower:
The suspect in the death of a Capitol Police officer described himself on Facebook as a follower of Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam, who has repeatedly promoted anti-Semitism.
The suspect, Noah R. Green, 25, was identified by two law enforcement officials and a congressional official. He was from Indiana and died after being shot by the Capitol Police.
On Facebook, Mr. Green had posted speeches and articles written by Mr. Farrakhan and Elijah Muhammad, who led the Nation of Islam from 1934 to 1975, that discussed the decline of America. Two law enforcement officials confirmed that the Facebook page, which was taken down on Friday, had belonged to Mr. Green.
As it turned out, Biden wasn’t finished when it came to not only leaving out context, but Biden probably also knows (correctly) that he can count on many “journalists” to pass along his narratives unquestioned. A Bloomberg Business White House reporter provides a fresh example:

Remember when reporters would real-time fact-check every statement from Trump and each press release from his administration? They’re back to being stenographers, even though the narratives they’re helping push are not true:
This is…false.

That’s just another example on the long list of J6 falsehoods the Biden White House and Dems have spread with the media’s assistance.

The Biden White House will reward this reporter with ten social credit points.
You are lying. Sicknick's death was due to lack of adequate care after a cardiac incident/stroke.
You're a reporter. Report the truth.

You should respect the grief of those parents by not lying about the death of their son, like they’ve repeatedly asked.

Another “journalist” passing along “misinformation.” Shocker.

Ironically, those who spread misinformation the most consider themselves among the nation’s foremost spotters of misinformation.
