For SOME reason NBC News deleted this 'trash' analogy intended as slam on Gov. DeSantis for sending migrants to MV

Somebody at NBC News was spotted punching the “delete” button after a story about Gov. Ron DeSantis sending illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. The tweet quoted another person offering up a peculiar analogy.

See if you can guess why the tweet was taken down:

Yeesh:

null

Perhaps somebody at NBC News read that wrong the first time.

And that’s from an advocate for the “asylum-seekers”? Worst. Advocate. Ever.

As you can see, the tweet is gone, but the internet is forever:

The “trash” part as of now is still in the story at the NBC News site:

After Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent two planes of mostly Venezuelan asylum-seekers to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, advertising executive Max Lefeld slammed the move as a political stunt.

“It’s like me taking my trash out and just driving to different areas where I live and just throwing my trash there,” said Lefeld, a Venezuelan American who’s a founding member of the Casa Venezuela Dallas foundation, which helps recent refugees.

That’s certainly a bizarre way to try and make DeSantis look bad.
