A tweet has been spotted that does little except confirm longtime allegations of Deep State bias:
That's a good tweet for people who might still need evidence that the "deep state" is real and would actively work to eliminate its political opposition.

There’s also another layer of irony and projection, but we’ll get to that in a minute.
First off, it all started when a Financial Times editor offered up this assessment of “today’s Republicans”:
I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close.

Former CIA Director, Gen. Michael Hayden, totally agreed with that assessment:
I agree. And I was the CIA Director https://t.co/LRAHDDyy4n
— Gen Michael Hayden (@GenMhayden) August 17, 2022
Wow, that says a lot, except not in the way Hayden thinks:
Federal Agencies: We swear! We're not Partisan! Don't take it personal!
Recent CIA director: "But also: U.S. Republicans are far worse than ISIS, CCP, N. Korea, Al Qaeda, Iranian Mullahs, Taliban, or any group in the last 40 years!"

This is exactly the problem

Hayden’s comments echo Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” and don’t exactly make it difficult to believe there were people working behind the scenes to work against Trump ahead of the 2020 election.
The CIA has backed the most bloodthirsty terrorists and militants in the world. There's even evidence the agency helped Mexican narcos torture and murder an American DEA agent.
But to former director Hayden, there's nothing worse than Middle Americans who won't go quietly. https://t.co/07Sb7f6U6I

This explains a lot, just not what they think it does. pic.twitter.com/MGIAUwN4ze

This, like many stories, has another level of irony and projection:
General Hayden signed the controversial October 2020 letter on Hunter Biden.https://t.co/npEQnZQ3W8https://t.co/npEQnZQ3W8 pic.twitter.com/sDfRa3mZYd

Well you are a pathologist liar https://t.co/IfyTRZmCCf

That’s rich!
The former CIA Director has incited violence against half of Americans. Is he still on Facebook?

I’m guessing Hayden won’t be suspended on any social media platforms.
