VP Kamala Harris is being sent to a conference about the border crisis (Ukraine's border that is)

Remember when VP Kamala Harris was put in charge of the crisis at the southern border and then pretty much nothing happened and it’s still a mess? The Biden administration is now putting Harris at the forefront of handling things at a different border much farther away:

From the New York Post:

Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Munich, Germany, later this month for a security conference meant to boost Ukraine against the backdrop of a potential invasion by Russia.

The veep’s appearance at the Munich Security Conference, scheduled to take place Feb. 18-20, “will demonstrate our ironclad commitment to our NATO Allies, reaffirm our shared interest in upholding the principles that have underpinned European peace and security since World War II, and underscore our commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the White House said in a statement.

For some reason we’re guessing she’ll end up finding a reason to blame climate change.

The last time Harris met with people overseas things got more than a bit awkward. We’ll see how she handles this even more delicate situation. Confidence is low:
