Earlier today we told you that White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s comments about the police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant left out a not-so-tiny detail. Some media outlets have also proven they’re not too eager to provide full context to the story, and neither does LeBron James, who obviously would like the Columbus PD officer to be the next Derek Chauvin:

As you can see, the tweet got deleted after several thousand retweets. Here’s what it looked like:
.@KingJames has since deleted this but when do we hold him #accountable for dumb tweets like this pic.twitter.com/BepUhGaReE

Hey @KingJames
Why did you delete this tweet? pic.twitter.com/0zT4e3bOBQ
— HTID (@RaverOldskool) April 21, 2021
Maybe it got deleted because the tweet was being reported:

Just like many in the media, maybe it was another case of “tweet first, find out the facts later.”
If he did nothing to save the girl being attacked with a knife, he would have been accused of not caring about a black girl's life.
Get real.

He saved a girl’s life from being shanked, but I guess her black life didn’t matter to you? pic.twitter.com/rvSdFF1jjj
— Caleb Hull (@CalebJHull) April 21, 2021
he literally saved a black girls life – you’re by far promoting more violent behavior than he is.

For some reason James didn’t feel it necessary to include the full context in his now-deleted tweet.
So…this cop saves the girl in pink from getting stabbed…and nobody but the person doing the stabbing gets hurt.
And your response is that the lifesaving COP is to blame?
Only news here is "Hero Cop Saves Girl’s Life" pic.twitter.com/mCD1s6MxWJ

I’m sure the girl in the pink feels otherwise and is thanking the officer’s quick response. pic.twitter.com/9mnaErOqkj

Look no further than this tweet to know why the China loving NBA’s ratings are in the toilet.
