Yesterday President Biden had his first press conference, and Fox News’ Peter Doocy was there but was never called on to asked a question.
During today’s briefing, Jen Psaki took a question from Doocy and it all helped demonstrate why he was avoided at yesterday’s Biden presser:
BOOM: Fox's Peter Doocy just read to Jen Psaki the 2005 comments from Joe Biden in support of the filibuster and then asked if that meant Biden was supporting "the legacy of the Jim Crow era." pic.twitter.com/VjHfoZMO4n

OOF! And now we know why Doocy wasn’t given the time of day yesterday.
“The president said he thinks the filibuster is a legacy of the Jim Crow era, did he think that… when he defended the filibuster…?” asks @pdoocy

LAST YEAR Democrats used the filibuster 250 times.
They abused it. They wrecked the process.
Arsonists complaining about fire damage.

Excellent question. No wonder Biden didn’t call on him. https://t.co/nBfxKTkl3s
