Earlier this week, CNN’s Brian Stelter said the story about Trump’s scene having been edited out of a Canadian broadcast of “Home Alone 2” (the CBC said the edit was made a few years ago for extra commercial time) and the president’s response was just more feed for the “perpetual outrage machine.”
Along those same lines, Stelter has agreed with Washington Post correspondent Philip Bump while again holding any pangs of self-awareness at bay:
>> @PBump nails it. "THIS is how it works. Donald Trump powers his politics on aggrievement. Any incident of aggrievement, however real, is seized upon by his base," from social media to Fox… pic.twitter.com/lkMGHcRRgh

“I’ll take ‘Zero Self-Awareness’ for $500, Alex.”
The complete lack of self-awareness on CNN is astounding.

Just watch with the sound off. The main guy looks like a ranting lunatic and the others just look bitter and defeated.
