During yesterday’s House Intelligence Committee impeachment inquiry hearing, the witnesses relayed a whole lot of second and thirdhand information they’d heard in the course of their diplomatic duties. CNN’s Brian Stelter had something to add to the conversation, and you know it’s going to have something to do with Fox News. Here it is:
Fox's pro-Trump shows are blasting "hearsay." But then Ed Henry told Laura Ingraham that he spoke to "three senior Republicans" who told him that THEY were talking to Democrats who were "absolutely deflated" by Wednesday's hearing.
So… in other words… hearsay?

Interesting attempt at a comparison, but a bunch of “fail” was spotted:
We can agree that both news reporting and undoing an election should both be based upon more than flimsy rumors and gossip.

Ironically Laura's show isn't news, and is an opinion/analysis show; Stelter even fails at his comparisons

Yes, let’s pretend these are even remotely similar in scope and importance. https://t.co/FZqydL853o

In which Brian Stelter shows he thinks accusing a president of high crimes and misdemeanors is the same as chat show gossip. https://t.co/nSBGm211WG

The CNN show called “Reliable Sources” gets more ironic by the day.
One of these “hearsay” situations is part of an attempt to remove the duly elected president of the United States from office, Brian. https://t.co/BZcEvZqjAc

THIS IS CNN.
I won't accept hearsay to remove a sitting President and overturn an election.
I may accept hearsay as part of a journalist's reporting.
Nice try though.

Your bundled cable subscription is the only thing paying for @brianstelter's takes, people. https://t.co/zhUU4SWBPp

CNN once again proves it's the funniest satire of news media since "WKRP in Cincinnati." Stay tuned for the special Thanksgiving epsiode where Brian swears to God he thought turkeys could fly. https://t.co/O9ZtHY0RCQ

While ABC News protects a child rapist, CNN media "reporter" Brian Stelter focuses on honing the sick Twitter burns. https://t.co/YkaI8Ax73z

And he only burned himself.
