President Trump is in the UK for the next couple of days, and he took to Twitter to slam London’s mayor as well as make this comparison to a certain U.S. mayor who is a current Democrat presidential candidate:
….Kahn reminds me very much of our very dumb and incompetent Mayor of NYC, de Blasio, who has also done a terrible job – only half his height. In any event, I look forward to being a great friend to the United Kingdom, and am looking very much forward to my visit. Landing now!

De Blasio responded in a “the jerk store called” kind of way, except with a twist for the kids:
#ConDon takes another shot at me. But I’m a total @SadiqKhan stan, so consider any comparison a compliment. Plus the Mayor is a much better British doppelgänger than Brexit Bojo…. https://t.co/HkSbR8Hzml

Yeesh!
I've never cringed reading a tweet before until….. https://t.co/ITMwrmDaQw

And the cringing was bi-partisan:
"But I'm a total @SadiqKhan Stan"
Lmao listen to this clown try to sound like a millennial https://t.co/MuyHfgDZPb

He said stan, @BethanyBowra

I'm no millennial, but isn't stan more of a verb? Also, fix the subway.

The NYC mayor has his “priorities.”

I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of your dad trying to sound cool on social media and then asked it to write a tweet of its own: https://t.co/JPEEZEibuU

I kinda feel bad for whoever is being forced to write these.

Also, de Blasio seems determined to make “con Don” a thing, but we just don’t see it happening.
