Former FBI Director James Comey was interviewed this morning on television for the first time since the Mueller report was released:

Among the claims Comey made was this response about having “no idea what he’s talking about” to a question about Trump citing a New York Times report that the FBI had a spy inside the Trump campaign ahead of the 2016 election in order to investigate information in the Steele dossier:

And did he really say this?
Comey: "Yeah I have no idea what's he talking about"

Trump was referring to a New York Times report, and we’re pretty sure Comey’s familiar with that paper since he has a professor friend who definitely knows who they are and how to reach them.
The spy master says he doesn't spy.

The new #ToxicLiberal word for 'spying' is now 'investigating' https://t.co/KZVv8iG0Mp

Comey also got a heck of an assist:

This isn't #journalism, it's Deep State propaganda. https://t.co/UOCCvVO8gc

The claims made by Comey went unchallenged, as “journalism” demands in the year 2019.
