There are a lot of questions surrounding Buzzfeed’s “bombshell” of a story about Trump, Cohen and Trump Tower, but according to Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith, those questions are ridiculous and are only being asked by Trump supporters:

The co-authors of the story not being able to get their stories aligned is also what’s sparking more questions about the report.

"The facts are really bad." Then why won't you present them? https://t.co/uEO0Gmid0P

Does the media realize there’s are “bombshells” almost every day that usually end up being duds and maybe the inherent skepticism is of their own doing? Also, Smith’s assertion that the questions (or “attacks” as he put it) are only coming from Trump’s supporters isn’t true.
A lot of non-Trump supporters (like me) also have questions

Not a Trump supporter (also, not attacking) but I don't believe the story either.

*raises hand*
I'm not a Trump supporter.
Jason Leopold is a serial fibber. So is Trump.
Why would I believe one fibber over the other? https://t.co/sutwffyUnd
