As you now know, members of a caravan of illegal immigrants arrived at the US border and attempted to force their way through a fence, and were subsequently driven back by pepper spray and tear gas. If you only got your news from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” you might have been quite surprised to learn it was actually happening:
Here’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski mocking Fox News’ coverage of the migrant caravan the day after midterm elections. They seem to consider it no big deal.

Earlier this month it was a “ghost caravan”:
.@JoeNBC: "My feeling has been you know what this is America…you vote the way obviously you want to vote…That's a little harder to do in 2018 when you have the President of the United States lying about small pox…lying about this ghost caravan." pic.twitter.com/fWeMBV3M8c

Things sure have changed!
US CBP: "Today, several migrants threw projectiles at the agents in San Diego. Border Patrol agents deployed tear gas to dispel the group because of the risk to agents' safety. Several agents were hit by the projectiles. The situation is evolving and a statement is forthcoming."

Any change the “Morning Joe” crew will admit they were wrong to claim warnings about the caravan were fake news?

Scarborough compares the migrators turned invaders to martians in his back yard. How can he be this clueless and still be a reporter? https://t.co/8cK3qB9UVy

Today shameless #morningjoe panel are discussing caravan as if they haven’t been saying “it isn’t coming” for weeks. @Morning_Joe just keep going as if they haven’t been lying to their few viewers day after day. Will @JoeNBC @morningmika admit they are wrong?

Being wrong in the “media” means never having to say you’re sorry.
Somebody should tell the “Morning Joe” producers to stop booking guests to discuss what their co-hosts have said isn’t happening:
