Jim Acosta shouting questions to President Trump yesterday about his swipes at the media got the CNN reporter shushed, but Acosta remained defiant. Former CNN producer Steve Krakauer slammed Acosta’s antics:
Truly an embarrassment, on multiple levels. Jim Acosta’s self-serving antics give all good journalists a bad name. https://t.co/TarlLVZ3RZ

On a day journalists could honor the memory of fellow reporters tragically killed due to a deranged person with a vendetta going back years, Acosta tries to shift the blame to Trump, thus validating many Americans’ feelings about the Acela Media (that existed long before Trump).

It’s certainly true that the Resistance isn’t happy about Krakauer’s criticism of Acosta, who is the most visible symbol of a mainstream media that to a great deal hibernated during, or performed stenographer duties for, the Obama administration.
Jim Acosta was doing his job. Krakauer is the embarrassment who clearly has no idea what a good journalist is. https://t.co/om6CeztPrP

Jim Acosta is doing his job. Trump is the one giving his job a bad name. I’ve never seen you criticize Trump.

All journalists should be asking @Acosta’s question. If you think the question is “self-serving @SteveKrak, you’re part of the problem. 45 has continually put them at risk for asking questions about this corrupt administration.
