'Oh FFS'! CNN goes FULL bananas in new truth lecture that's self-unawareness 'comedy gold'

CNN, instead of searching for a different promotional approach following the tidal wave of mockery about their “apples & bananas” PR campaign, is doubling down, especially on the bananas:

“Some people might try to tell you that there’s no point in looking for it.” #FactsFirst pic.twitter.com/LZIb2MHdoC

Yikes. Really?

Y'all are seriously going to double down in this ridiculously ironic ad campaign, aren't you?

Zero self awareness. https://t.co/FCwKr6IXLZ

They are, and it’s glorious!

Giant piles of bananas are not a thing. Nobody says "looking for an apple in banana stack." This metaphor plane is off the rails at sea. https://t.co/OX4wIrT635

Shh! Nobody tell them.
