At an event in Florida last night, President Trump took a number of shots at the mainstream media, specifically ABC News’ Brian Ross and CNN:
"Do you see all the corrections the media has been making?" Trump says. Calls ABC's Brian Ross a "fraudster." "He drove the stock market down 350 points in minutes."

"They apologized! Thank you CNN. Thank you so much. You should have been apologizing for the last two years."

After having to issue a major correction to a story CNN blamed on unreliable sources, the host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources” tried to correct something Trump said in his speech:
Trump: "Did you see all the corrections the media's been making?" He says "they've been apologizing left and right." Calls Brian Ross a "fraudster" who should have been fired. Says CNN "apologized" for today's mistake (CNN corrected it but did not apologize)

Maybe somebody from CNN should sit this one out at this point.
True. CNN has not yet apologized or even really begun to explain what happened, probs w/ sources, other stories https://t.co/xnbfXR4y3Z

"We apologize" isn't in their vocabulary.

*We’re not sorry in the least for failing so miserably at the most basic tenets of journalism*
Is that a position you wanna stick with? https://t.co/F3UT739tIN

Thanks for clarifying. CNN did not apologize for misleading the American people with yet another fake news Russia conspiracy theory story. https://t.co/iggmAPRkiJ

I probably wouldn’t be advertising the fact that y’all didn’t apologize given you misled the public for at least 8 hours yesterday. They deserve an apology. https://t.co/oF5PMNOIRo

It turns out that Trump actually gave CNN too much credit!
So CNN isn't sorry it spread fake news it didn't bother to verify before publishing? Good to know. https://t.co/JXO4C8fFkd

Apparently CNN isn't sorry one bit for making significant mistakes https://t.co/oLzAtqpiHd

So, @brianstelter's big catch on Trump is to point out that @CNN didn't apologize for their latest #FakeNews, so @realDonaldTrump is a liar!!!
Ever think someone may have privately apologized to the victims of the fake stories? https://t.co/Y35HZHm7BB— Me and Him (@nanluvsmatt) December 9, 2017
.@brianstelter is like one of those Japanese soldiers found in the jungle in 1964 who couldn’t accept that he lost the war. https://t.co/ciZNAZ8UxB

Not apologizing for egregious reporting error because #Trump1!1! doesn't make you look brave. It makes you look silly. https://t.co/oyCrogxK7T

He’s trolling you. And you just admitted publicly you didn’t apologize. Weird how you only makes “mistakes” about Trump & Co. When it becomes @CNN’s MO, maybe they aren’t “mistakes?” Maybe you just do it on purpose, which would then be “not a mistake.” #VeryFakeNews

CNN made the correction because they had to. CNN didn't apologize, well, they're CNN. Reliable Sources? That's the most ironic name, ever. https://t.co/vLOSW8Uxdo

Way to go, CNN!
