The “fake news” accusations have been flying lately, and many of them have been totally earned by the MSM. NBC News’ Chuck Todd, who has been doing epic amounts of pearl clutching over “fake news” accusations lately, senses something greater might be at work:
I'm convinced this whole anti-media deal is designed to condition his base so when more shoes drop, they'll believe it's all fake.

This is my great fear. That this is somehow a strategy. It's beyond cynical https://t.co/WYxVDri93Z

Well, it’s not like the media haven’t done their part, Chuck:
It could also be true that the media has chosen sides. Your show conveys less verified information than speculation daily. That's a problem. https://t.co/wWPNZ8w8Yn

People were conditioned a long time ago against believing the media, and it's the media's political advocacy that did it.

So his greatest fear is that it's some giant evil plot and not anything the media has done?
Good thinking, Chuck…

The MSM should maybe first look in a mirror before leveling accusations at others.
If the MSM just stopped doing fake news, their enemy's strategy would be doomed.

So why have you gone along? Simple professionalism would prevent this, but instead we get nonstop hysteria. https://t.co/A2fkaxD162

We haven't trusted the media for decades! Loooong before Trump. You clowns picked sides before Cronkite and we've not believed you since. https://t.co/obrKnJdLaf

This is my great fear, that Chuckie is somehow allowed to continue spewing BS without any consequences for his collusion with Podesta & HRC. https://t.co/qEcXuuySRf

did you idiots really not notice this "strategy" for forty years until the world's least subtle political messenger starting doing it https://t.co/ofXzW4vGcX
