Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives would like to interview pop star Justin Bieber, who is under investigation for possible misdemeanor battery after a photographer accused him of assault.

Detectives were investigating claims by the photographer that Bieber struck him after he snapped photographs of the singer and his girlfriend, actress Selena Gomez, at the Commons at Calabasas Shopping Center.
