For every Democrat complaining about billionaires in politics, there's a photo of that Democrat posing with Alex Soros, son of George Soros. I have to admit, Tuesday night was tough. Going to bed knowing that James Talarico had won Texas, followed by waking up to news that Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed had won Michigan, were a gut punch.

Democrats haven't been shy about sharing their plans to make healthcare, gas, and groceries more affordable by throwing out subpoenas like Mardi Gras beads (their words, not mine).

I tend to agree with Greg Gutfeld, who says that Democrats will overreach in the next two years, tripling down on everything that lost them elections in 2024. Personally, I'm looking forward to President Marco Rubio being elected in 2028.

I have to give it to Soros for being uncharacteristically honest, though. I like to see the midterms as a temporary bump in the road. Republicans have recovered from them before. And if we can hold the White House in 2028, which shouldn't be a problem, considering the Democrats' base, we'll be in decent shape. Soros, though, says Tuesday wasn't just a blue wave … it was something the country has never seen before. (Hint: We've seen it before.) Soros calls it the greatest victory he has ever seen and — here's the honest part — "in one night, America changed for generations to come." Nah. Maybe for a couple of years, but for generations?

"It's something this country has never seen before!" The incumbent party got wiped out in the midterms. A first.

They're all overselling this.

It was just a midterm. Conservatives were expecting it. They were hoping for the best, but the loss of the House and Senate wasn't entirely unexpected. If the Democrats can appear sane for the next two years and find a viable presidential candidate, they might have a chance in 2028, but I doubt they can do it.

America did not change for generations to come. Voters will course-correct again, no matter how many billions you pump into the destruction of America.
