Maybe the uncovering of who knows how many fraudulent daycares in Minnesota has made me suspicious, but New York State Gov. Kathy Hochul announcing a budget of $4.5 billion for childcare spending in 2026 alone seems like a great opportunity for fraud in New York. Hochul appeared with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to make the announcement.
