It Took Only Days After October 7 for Zohran Mamdani to Claim Genocide in Gaza

It looks like Zohran Mamdani is going to be the next mayor of New York. It's strange to be put in a position of rooting for Andrew Cuomo, but here we are.

I haven't visited New York City in probably 30 years. My wife took me to New York City for the first time the same weekend as the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. We were in Midtown and hadn't heard anything about it, but our relatives back home had seen it on TV and were concerned for us. Then, just last month, a photo of Mamdani shaking hands with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the truck bomb attack that killed six people and injured over 1,000.

I suppose I shouldn't concern myself with New York if its citizens are dumb enough to vote for Mamdani. You get the government you elect. But this guy? It didn't take him more than 10 days after the October 7 massacre in Israel to grab a bullhorn and spout pro-Hamas talking points.

Mehdi Hasan, who acts as the 24/7 Islamophobia police on X, said he was just trying to stop a genocide.

Of course, Hasan disabled replies.

Forgive me, too, if I wasn't overly concerned with Mamdani's father's second cousin feeling uncomfortable on the subway after the 9/11 attacks. How she felt on 9/11 is my concern.

Yeah, Mamdani was throwing around the "genocide" claim before Israel even invaded Gaza. They gave the Gazans a head start to get out of the way or face the consequences.

New York Jews will vote for this guy. I can't explain it.
