Hi, it's your U.K. correspondent again, checking in on the "asylum-seekers" in England. I just published a post about an Afghan national who went on a stabbing spree, killing a dog walker and injuring two others, including a 14-year-old boy. Needless to say, "anti-migrant sentiment" is running high.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has repeatedly said she will do whatever it takes to secure England's borders:
We will do whatever it takes to secure our borders. pic.twitter.com/VyolMeZjlP

That's good, because there was a "blunder" last week when an Ethiopian migrant named Hadush Kebatu, who was jailed for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and a woman, but was mistakenly freed by prison staff. He was re-arrested after two days. Kebatu was put on a flight to Ethiopia on Tuesday night after being given £500 spending money.
BREAKING: Migrant sex offender Hadush Kebatu has been deported to Ethiopia following his mistaken release from prison.

Turns out you can just deport them. https://t.co/aBe5yWQnhq

Oh no way. I thought you had to feed, clothe, house, educate, and provide medical, dental and vision care first 🤔

Mahmood called Kebatu's release a "blunder that should never have happened."
Last week’s blunder should never have happened – and I share the public’s anger that it did. I would like to thank the police for rapidly bringing Mr Kebatu into custody and the public for their vigilance.

I have pulled every lever to deport Mr Kebatu and remove him off British…
The post continues:
… soil. I am pleased to confirm this vile child sex offender has been deported. Our streets are safer because of it.
If you come to this country and commit crimes, we will remove you.
Promise?
Still no statement on the terrible murder by an Afghan immigrant on British streets of a British citizen.

What about yesterdays ‘blunder’?

You need to deport every last one that came in the last 8 years.
Will you also take credit for this wise decision?https://t.co/r86FcO8dhH

The blunder was his presence in the country to begin with.

You think deporting one when there are millions that need to go is something to shout about?
— Christopher Talbot (@Lord_Talbot64) October 29, 2025
“I have pulled every lever” translates to “I paid him to leave”.
— Ben (@_RealSuperhuman) October 29, 2025
See, you can actually get rid of people when you want to. So why do you have 10,000 other foreign nationals in prison that aren't being deported?
— Martin in Monmouthshire (@MartinMonmouth1) October 29, 2025
I think you can drop the honorific for this one.

“I would like to thank the police for rapidly bringing Mr Kebatu into custody”

Rapidly? Really? The country watched him wonder around London for a few days in his PRISON CLOTHES and even visit a local library.
It was anything but rapid! 🤦♂️
"Blunder."
