President Joe Biden is giving his farewell address right now, and now he's saying that the biggest threat to democracy is the new oligarchy that's forming… the power being concentrated in the robber barons. These billionaires need to pay their fair share … and censor their social media networks. Social media is giving up on fact-checking! Then he got around to the existential threat of climate change. Biden also started with some mumbo jumbo about the Statue of Liberty.
Oh man, no he just mentioned using AI to end cancer as we know it … something he claimed he already did.
Leading into the president's address, CNN's Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper looked at the beginning of Biden's administration, with Tapper saying it was just 14 days after "the worst attack on American democracy since the Civil War." Forget Pearl Harbor. Forget 9/11.
