"Strength Through Joy" was a Nazi slogan — isn't that how this game works? As you'll certainly remember, the moment the Democrat elites forced Joe Biden out of the 2024 race and Kamala Harris was coronated as the nominee, the memo went out that the theme of the campaign was "joy." This was in the space of a couple of days:
J.D. Vance was "weird" while Tim Walz had a "folksy demeanor."
The Harris campaign hasn't dropped the "joy" — she doesn't have much else to run on — but the campaign has pivoted to the "Forward to a New Future" stage. A new future from the woman who's been vice president for nearly four years.
I admit I don't get people who post to TikTok. But I am very familiar with the type of liberal white woman who believes that Democrats are "the party of fun." Look how much fun we're all having trying to buy groceries and fill up our cars.
She makes the argument that MAGA hates her and her kind for their joy. Let's hear her out (if you can make it the full three minutes).

I'm looking forward to a Trump victory in November so I can relieve the joy of election night 2016 and the photos of women literally collapsing on the floor of the Javits Center in tears or running to the restroom to vomit. Who has that photo of the Obama administration taken outside the White House after Trump won — the one with all the joy and fun on their faces?
