A jury found Hunter Biden guilty on three felony counts, despite the defense's argument that Biden is an addict, and was probably high on crack when he lied on a gun application about his crack addiction. I understand that addiction can make you do terrible things, but Biden has managed to do that even when he's been off the pipe.
The media has assured us that the president loves his son very much, and that's the real story. As I reported earlier, CBS News' Major Garrett reacted to the guilty verdict by saying that Biden's conviction was painful for the nation, as the president's family is America's family — something I'm sure he would have said during the Trump administration.
The press is really taking the conviction hard. ABC News' Terry Moran noted that the scourge of addiction has touched many American families, so the people know what the first family has been through.
ABC's @TerryMoran: "So many American families understand that now the First Family has gone through [addiction] as well. The political consequence of it may be tempered by the fact that this is a scourge that has touched so many American families, even the president’s." pic.twitter.com/suLbBIAIlE

Yes, we all have middle-aged Ivy League Law grads who make millions with no-show jobs on the boards of foreign companies.

So he just an addict, not a convicted felon?

Terry Moran: And all this time, we thought the laptop from hell would be detrimental. The Biden campaign now has a pulse because so many can relate to drug benders, lying on a firearm application and banging your dead sibling’s spouse.

And knocking up a stripper and having your and your whole family refuse to acknowledge the existence of the president's new granddaughter.
Check out this gem of "reporting" from the New York Times:

If President Biden has a flaw, it's loving his son too much. So much so that he'd call into his son's "business" meetings to ask about the weather.
I can't help but shed a tear. 🤣

Biden admitted in that #MeToo video that he's a tactile guy and really enjoys touching people, maybe a little too much.
How’s granddaughter Navy doing?

We know she's not using the Biden name, as she's forbidden to according to the court settlement.
Were you weeping when you wrote this? 😭

I'd had those two examples bookmarked, but when I saw this third one from Bloomberg, I knew I had to write a post.
On one of the worst days of his life, President Biden showed the best of who he is, presenting the starkest contrast yet between him and Donald Trump, @niamalikah says https://t.co/eeZN7YCgse via @opinion

They don't really care anymore about the deserved mockery and derision for this. They are selling this to the low info voters, hoping to generate a narrative. It's a sign of decay that they aren't even trying to preserve reputation. https://t.co/SL6W0uU4Nm

The "starkest contrast" is how corporate media acts as PR for politicians that they like, while demonizing those they don't.

Imagine how hard all of this has been on Joe. He just loves his son so much and he's so proud of him. What an amazing father he's been. That's what all this is about … what this poor father has been put through and how well he's coped with it.
