You and I both know the United Nations is a joke. Look at who they put on their human rights committees. They really should kick everybody out and use the building to house migrants.
I've had a difficult time stirring up any sympathy for the Palestinians since it was their elected leaders in Hamas who decided to launch a terrorist attack on Israel, killing more Jews in one day since the Holocaust. All of the both-sidesers on this one are calling for a "proportionate" response from Israel and a ceasefire. Now that Hamas have been chased back into their holes, it's time to call for a ceasefire. No, it's time to call for a ceasefire when Hamas lays down its weapons and surrenders and releases its hostages.
Secretary-General of the U.N. Antonio Guterres visited Gaza and felt heartbroken.
It’s impossible to be at the Rafah crossing & not feel heartbroken.

Behind these walls there are 2 million people in Gaza with no water, food, medicine, fuel.
On this side, these trucks have what they need.
We need to make them move—as soon as possible, as many as necessary. pic.twitter.com/GaogVeKtsl
.@antonioguterres, did you visit Be'eri? Kfar Aza? Nir Oz? Sderot? Did you meet with survivors of the Hamas massacre? Or with the families of the Israelis — including women and children — who are being held hostage in Gaza?

Until you do, don't talk to us about heartbreak. https://t.co/gXKAtA23ix
Surrender. Release all hostages. It's that simple.

What’s stopping you bro? Head on

Tell Hamas to surrender and its all over.

I'm sure Hamas will be grateful for the aid. The aid that they will undoubtedly confiscate for themselves.

I saw the news paper ready images of trucks all lined up. Has the same energy and honesty as this photo in a parking lot pic.twitter.com/6BfcLmLsyL

Hamas is the government in Gaza. So, you're handing them those?
— JRB (@joreball) October 21, 2023
It's better for the UN and you to stay there for awhile and manage the distribution of aid to make sure it goes to Palestinian civilians DIRECTLY and not let Hamas confiscate them.
How does one know that “all” that is in those trucks is “aid” going to civilians. For years Hamas has been ripping off aid to get armaments into Gaza. Hamas has rockets made from the water pipes. Zero investment in infrastructure rather they’ve destroyed it.

Gaza was a dump before any Israeli airstrikes, thanks to a government more concerned with killing Jews than maintaining an infrastructure.
They ran out of everything except rockets

Nothing else behind the walls?
— Amiram Krasner (@AmiramKrasner) October 20, 2023
Jews are not people? Hostages does not break your heart?
Why does it occur to so few people to tell Hamas to surrender and give up its hostages? None of this would be happening if Hamas hadn't started it a week ago today. But now they're hiding behind human shields.
It's funny … Ilhan Omar had famously tweeted about Israel "hypnotizing the world," but it's the Palestinians who've pulled a fast one, relying on people to forget the initial terror attack and instead focus on Israel "bombing" hospitals.
