We touched on this in another post on the FBI admitting its “missteps” in handling Crossfire Hurricane, but we’d like to revisit it because it brings Hillary Clinton directly into the conversation. The Durham Report essentially states that everyone knew the allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia were bogus but spent years “investigating” it anyway.
As we reported back in May 2022, the trial of Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman revealed FBI Agent Curtis Heide was being investigated for withholding information. Heide worked with the lead agent on the Alfa Bank case and was also the case agent on the George Papadopoulos case. Sussman was the one who made up the whole story about Donald Trump having a secret back-channel to Alfa Bank, a Russian bank. Clinton then tweeted out the press release which she knew was 100 perfect fake.
Heide messaged on Sept. 22, 2016, that the FBI was “leaning toward this being a false server.” By Halloween, Clinton was spreading around a press release about a “new report” exposing “Trump’s Secret Line of Communication to Russia.”

According to the Durham Report, the FBI agents who were fed the fake Russian bank story by Sussman knew it was a lie, but they were ordered to open a full case into it anyway:

We haven’t seen any reporters return their Pulitzers for reporting on the Russian collusion story.
It’s so ridiculous that this took so long to get out when almost all of it was known & verifiable shortly after it occurred. And we were called conspiracy theorists for pointing all of it out 🙄
