This tweet isn’t remarkable for what it says but for who said it. Ana Kasparian is executive producer and host of “The Young Turks,” a decidedly leftist bunch. Nevertheless, she’s drawing the line at being called a “birthing person” or a “person with a uterus.” Meanwhile, the staffers in the Biden administration are busy scrubbing the word “mother” from federal documents and replacing it with “birthing person.”
I'm a woman. Please don't ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates. How do people not realize how degrading this is? You can support the transgender community without doing this shit.

You can’t though. People are still burning J.K. Rowling’s books after a “transphobic” tweet that was not the least bit transphobic.
Media Matters alumnus Parker Molloy wants to know why Kasparian feels personally affected:

Medical literature, health-related articles, healthcare professionals, etc. You won't hear it in conversation often outside of a healthcare context, but you'll see it in writing fairly frequently. WebMD, for example, has been doing it a lot lately.

This is the take of most average people but online she will be made to feel like she’s evil for expressing this. https://t.co/Pryliz0yJI

Uh oh. You just said something mildly at odds with the Alphabet Mafia’s approved narrative.
Good luck to you!

Sure enough, liberals in her replies are saying “no one actually uses those terms” (yes, they do) and why should she be bothered if it doesn’t affect her personally? Maybe she’s bothered for the same reasons most women are bothered — because it’s erasing women.
