Here’s something you don’t see every day, and you don’t want to see it every day. The LGBTQ movement long ago adopted the word “pride” — you weren’t supposed to be ashamed of being gay, you should be out and proud. Pride is all rainbows and unicorns. But recently, it’s been deemed unacceptable to not be proud of your gay child. In a slide deck, Future of Sex Education encouraged sex education in all grades and in all classes, because “early grades may be the best time to introduce topics related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, gender equality and social justice related to LGBTQ+ community before heteronormative and cisnormative values and assumptions become more deeply ingrained and less mutable.”
The enemy of the LGBTQ community is cisnormative values and assumptions; that is, believing that your gender matching your sex is “normal.” That’s why it’s so important for schools to get to kids early, before those cisnormative assumptions become ingrained. God forbid that a straight father hopes that his kids are straight, too.
Dr. Phil decided to spring a transgender daughter on her father and managed to crush his soul.
