AOC: If NYC is so 'uninvestable,' why do 'some of the most billionaires in the world' live there?

“Shark Tank” host Kevin O’Leary appeared on CNN the other morning and raised some hackles by calling New York City “uninvestable.” He then “attacked” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for killing jobs.

Word got back to Ocasio-Cortez that she’d been “attacked” (yet again) and she fired back with this brilliant comeback:

The billionaires aren't living their to invest. They are living there to consume.

They like your opera houses. Your museums. Your sports arenas. Your fine dining.

They're not "investing" or building businesses there unless they can't build them anywhere else.

Sure, some of the most billionaires live in New York City — they can afford to. They probably also have a primary residence in another low-tax state or are getting ready to move to one.

Has AOC done anything to attract investment in New York? Taxes and regulations seem to be the sticking point, and she’s all for more of both.
