As Twitchy has reported, the Biden administration hasn’t been shy about enforcing the FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances), which prevents protesters from interfering with women entering abortion clinics. In September, a Catholic activist had 30 FBI agents sent to his house to arrest him for allegedly pushing to the ground an elderly clinic escort … on October 13, 2021. Local authorities had looked into it, and there was a threat of a lawsuit … but nearly a year later, the FBI came to his door and arrested him.
We didn’t believe the caption to this video from the U.K., but it’s dead on: Police literally ask a woman if she was praying outside of an abortion clinic, and then arrest her when she refuses to go with them voluntarily to the police station.

Mary Margaret Olohan writes at The Daily Signal:
Authorities have arrested a pro-life woman for silently praying outside an abortion clinic in the United Kingdom.
News of Isabel Vaughan Spruce’s arrest comes amid anxieties over the Justice Department’s crackdown on pro-life activists in the United States, such as Mark Houck, a pro-life father arrested for allegedly pushing an abortion clinic volunteer who was reportedly bothering his son as they prayed outside an abortion clinic.
Footage published by Alliance Defending Freedom shows police confronting Spruce, who has been charged with breaking a Public Space Protection Order for praying silently near an abortion clinic on four different occasions in Kings Norton, Birmingham.
The woman stands silently praying as the police approach her and ask what she is doing, after which she tells them that she “might” be praying in her head.
“Are you praying?” He asks her.
“I might be praying in my head,” she responds.
What business does she have standing there?
*Silently praying outside an abortion clinic.

This is terrifying. What have we become?!
Under a Conservative government, too.

You got a loicence for that prayer, ma'am?

they wouldn't touch a muslim man praying in the middle of the street and blocking traffic

Pro-life Christians in the U.K. are missing a great opportunity to ally with pro-life Muslims and do just that.

Signs of the times. Arrested for silently standing and praying on a public sidewalk.

Sad. Even as an Atheist, I find it ridiculous that she was arrested for silently praying outside of an abortion clinic.

This is absolute madness. How can someone be arrested for praying?
— Emily Rarick (@emilyrprolife) December 22, 2022
This would also be a crime in Canada.

Just following orders, Back the blue! 🤡🌎

“Your arrest is necessary.” Wow! Standing alone, silently praying is a necessary arrest. That’s ridiculous

I just came from the UK. It is not a free country, and it never has been. There is a reason why the US declared independence.
— davidfekke (@davidfekke) December 22, 2022
It's good to know that all real crime has been eliminated in the UK, so that now the police can begin to concentrate on what people might be thinking.
I would suggest focusing on people thinking violent thoughts rather than people who are praying. But that's just me.
— Jack Foster (@jazzraptor) December 22, 2022
If I understand correctly, its that you are not allowed to “protest” in any way outside of an abortion clinic. She could just stand there, but since she was praying, they considered that a form of “protest”.
— Robert (@RobertNorCal) December 22, 2022
Some are saying that the woman already had a few strikes against her for protesting and this was the last straw. Even so … “Are you praying?” A police officer actually asked that before arresting her?
