Transgender woman moved after she managed to impregnate two inmates

This is just a reminder that we have a sitting Supreme Court justice who can’t tell you what a woman is because she’s not a biologist. Sen. Josh Hawley was accused of violence against transgender people for asking if “people with the capacity to give birth” meant women. And the University of Pennsylvania has just nominated Lia Thomas for the NCAA’s “Woman of the Year” award.

Now we’re hearing that a woman managed to impregnate two other women in a New Jersey prison.

Joe Atmonavage reports:

A transgender inmate who impregnated two women while incarcerated at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women has been moved to a new facility, according to the Department of Corrections.

Demi Minor, 27, was transferred to Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, a prison for young adult offenders in Burlington County, last month, Dan Sperrazza, a Department of Corrections spokesman, said.

He said the DOC moved Minor to the vulnerable unit at the facility and that she is currently the only woman prisoner on the site. Sperrazza said he could not comment on the DOC’s specific housing actions in Minor’s case because of policies around privacy.

According to the corrections department, Minor is serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter and is eligible for parole in 2037.

How could something like this happen? We knew men could give birth, but we didn’t know women could get other women pregnant.

Never. And the Biden administration has made it very clear that it stands behind the transgender community 100 percent.

We’ve just been assured that no one is more obsessed with pronouns than white conservative men, but NJ.com made sure to stick with “her” throughout the piece.

Surprise: New Jersey’s transgender prisoner policy was established following a settlement agreement with the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey in June 2021. Thanks, ACLU.
