Juneteenth is this weekend, in case you were wondering. If you’re white, though, please don’t ask for an invitation to the cookout. At least that’s the request of Melina Abdullah, hip-hop scholar and professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles. If you’re white it should be Reparations Day, but until that day comes, don’t celebrate.
Attention white people…
Please don’t ask if you can come to the cookout…#Juneteenth is freedom day for Black folks. It should be #Reparations day for white folks.

June 19th is Father's Day. Will be at the Father's Day cookout, but thanks for asking.

This ain't it. Consult your local Texan on proper Juneteenth observance.

I’m gonna cookout even harder now.

Dear black people. Please don’t ask if you can come to the cookout. If we know each other you’re already invited. Whatever day it is. Come on over. Maybe bring that covered dish your wife makes, that stuff is delicious! Otherwise grab a beer and a burger. It’s just a cookout.

Her Wikipedia entry is something else:
Melina Rachel Reimann was born on September 18, 1972, at East Oakland, Oakland, California, U.S. Her father, John Reimann, was “a union organizer and self-proclaimed Trotskyist.” Her mother is Linda Fowler Blackston and she was raised by Oji “Baba” Blackston. Her paternal grandfather was Günter Reimann (born Hans Steinicke), a German-Jewish Marxist economist and member of the Communist Party of Germany who opposed Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.
The real question is .. which BLM mansion is hosting the cookout? 🤔

If you want to understand why so many college graduates these days are angry, hateful, bitter, anti-social jackwagons, consider that vile people like this get paid by taxpayers to "educate" them.
What an absolute embarrassment, @CalStateLA.
You should be ashamed.

We guarantee they’re behind her 100 percent.
