As we reported, the committee hired (using our money) the former president of ABC News to jazz things up and make it a “captivating multimedia presentation.” We’re kind of interested to see the graphics each network has come up with to introduce the hearings — we’re imagining a lot of panning around 3-D models of the Capitol Building.
Tonight’s little display has nothing to do with Jan 6 and everything to do with demonizing Trump and his supporters, over 70 million Americans, incl parents and families who are concerned about their children & the future. Tonight is a shameful display by grotesque people. 3/3

Too true. They’ve already arrested what, like 400 people? Committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin tried to hype up the prime time special by hinting that the committee has a lot more evidence on Donald Trump than just incitement — but if they could even prove incitement, why haven’t they presented their findings to Attorney General Merrick Garland?

Because they have a “mountain of evidence” to present in just a short amount of time, so they need to jazz it up.
I have a thought, since Cuomo received an Emmy for press conferences maybe they believe they can get one to adorn their mantles as well. Planning this extravaganza on our dime should net them something. I won't watch but it could be quite a show. Ridiculousness in the extreme.
