Tammy Bruce says tonight's January 6 hearing 'is a shameful display by grotesque people'

Do you think (some) people are excited for tonight’s live, televised January 6 committee hearing in prime time? As we’ve reported, Mark Hamill’s already posted a photo of himself eating popcorn, and CBS News’ Robert Costa just recently tweeted this photo of a door:

Seriously dude, it’s a door. Tweet a picture of your lunch or something.

Tammy Bruce is not so anxious to see tonight’s hearing, and she doesn’t hold back in explaining:

As we reported, the committee hired (using our money) the former president of ABC News to jazz things up and make it a “captivating multimedia presentation.” We’re kind of interested to see the graphics each network has come up with to introduce the hearings — we’re imagining a lot of panning around 3-D models of the Capitol Building.

Too true. They’ve already arrested what, like 400 people? Committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin tried to hype up the prime time special by hinting that the committee has a lot more evidence on Donald Trump than just incitement — but if they could even prove incitement, why haven’t they presented their findings to Attorney General Merrick Garland?

Because they have a “mountain of evidence” to present in just a short amount of time, so they need to jazz it up.

Good point.
