This tweet by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can be appended to the thread we wrote about Friday, in which she, like so many other leftists, lost it after Elon Musk tweeted a meme of the “woke progressives” moving so far left that your average liberal now found himself slightly right-of-center. Seriously, that cartoon really set off the Left. AOC, as always, goes for hyperbole and makes a joke out of any point she might have thought she was making — take, for example, that she sets off “far-left” in quotation marks, because to her, there is no such thing as the far left. There are just a bunch of caring people who want to give people free medical care and free college and so on.
AOC says “the extreme left is taking over,” but we’re not sure whom she’s quoting.
“The extreme left is taking over” WHERE. In Texas, Republicans passed a law allowing rapists to sue their victims for getting an abortion.
Can anyone name a “far left” policy that extreme implemented anywhere? We can’t even get our party to import cheaper RXs from Canada. foh

“In Texas, Republicans passed a law allowing rapists to sue their victims for getting an abortion."
Is this some kind of a twisted reality test? Am I dreaming? My phone seems to be fine. I'm confused. https://t.co/ixcHvIJVIa

Texas did not pass a law allowing rapists to sue their victims for getting an abortion. https://t.co/nONoN579Dn

"In Texas, Republicans passed a law allowing rapists to sue their victims for getting an abortion." – @AOC

In Colorado, state-funded abortions are legal up until crowning, for any reason whatsoever. One difference between Colorado's law and the one AOC is talking about below is that it isn't made up. https://t.co/uTlIO357ZI

How about taxpayer funded abortion up until and including birth? https://t.co/xn2A0do9dH

GP Let's see.
1. NY's abortion on demand through birth law.
2. NY's unconstitutional gerrymander.
3. NY's no-bail law.
4. NY's fracking ban.
5. NY's unconstitutional gun laws.
That's five just from NY. Want me to do CA next? https://t.co/C9PH9AwuyT

Yes, California law AB 2223. While you look that over, notice how they are replacing "woman" with "individual" or "pregnant person." Erasure of women at it's finest. https://t.co/mD8XRIIeMW

You want to convince little boys they need to be chemically castrated and little girls should have their breasts removed.
That's more extreme in its consequence to society than allowing more children to be birthed. https://t.co/bPNTGo7Fca

See the subtle gaslighting? She tries to claim that the left has not moved farther left because their policies are not winning.@AOC your policies are not winning because you have leapt as far to the left as possible. https://t.co/TWU8IAEGDZ

We couldn't pass our extreme policy preferences because they were so extreme therefore we aren't extreme. https://t.co/oMiGrAoqbF

Where’s Biden’s new disinformation czar to get this taken off of Twitter? What does she actually do?
