Florida gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried is sorry that all successful women have to go through things like this, but that’s how things are in the world. Sorry to disappoint, but there is no sex tape that’s going to sink her campaign.
It’s absurd that I have to dignify this, but there is no sex tape. Sorry to disappoint. Also sorry basically every successful woman has to deal with these types of rumors.

You forgot to start the rumor before denying it.
Geez, it’s so easy:
1. Set up burner Twitter account(s)
2. Spread rumors on burner accounts
3. Set up burner accounts to retweet rumors
4. Deny rumorsYou skipped steps 1 through 3. 🙄

Pulling a Jussie? No one has heard of this rumor.

One problem – the only person putting out this rumor is Nikki Fried herself. There is no other evidence of this happening. https://t.co/eb2KWo9UoQ

BREAKING: Florida gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried claims person blackmailing her over sex tape said she'd better pay up because "this is MAGA country."
— Jeff Charles (@JeffOnTheRight) April 16, 2022
No sex tape? Shit. Unfollow.

Well I'm glad someone I've never heard of doesn't have a sex tape I've never heard about. So many things being cleared up today.

You’re supposed to start the rumor, THEN deny it.

Does it make you feel better to know I didn’t have any idea there was even a rumor until you said this?

Smells like your campaign planted the rumor to shock life into your failed campaign. Your poll numbers are humiliating. https://t.co/qxYVUbc3ht
— Matt Barber (@jmattbarber) April 16, 2022
Yes Nikki is concerned, that’s why she put out the rumor.
— The Ghost of Thaddeus Stevens (@GhostofThaddeus) April 16, 2022
She started the rumor with the denial. There was zero evidence (social media, Google etc) of the rumor prior to it.
— Tom (@jtwfla) April 16, 2022
Oh, if we’re talking successful women, thankfully you’re safe.
— TopJimmy (@jp23mc) April 16, 2022
If anyone did start a rumor about a sex tape, they certainly didn’t get any traction with it. There’s, like, nothing on social media about it.
