As Twitchy reported, some old tweets from President Joe Biden are resurfacing today as Vladimir Putin alludes to putting the USSR back together. For example, this one is two years old today:
Vladimir Putin doesn’t want me to be President. He doesn’t want me to be our nominee. If you’re wondering why — it’s because I’m the only person in this field who’s ever gone toe-to-toe with him.

The New York Times’ chief White House correspondent, Peter Baker, is looking back and thinking about all of the people who underestimated Putin over the last 23 years.
Been thinking lately about all the people who underestimated Putin these last 23 years, thinking he would never do the brazen, outrageous thing he was clearly signaling he was going to do. Some paid the price, losing their freedom, their money, their business and even their lives

You actually tweeted this under your own name.

Well, perhaps that video of Jill helping Joe down off the podium recently gave him that final little nod of encouragement?

Countries Russia invaded under Trump = 0. Counties and embassies lost under Trump = 0. Countries and embassies lost under Biden’s first year = 2.

Didn't you tell us that Putin was going to overrun us all with Mr. Trump's assistance? You lied knowingly and we are watching your duplicity play out in real time now. He has no qualms about mocking Biden.

So here’s the liberal narrative as seen in the replies: they’re angry with Baker’s newspaper for covering Hillary Clinton’s emails and thus handing the election to Donald Trump, who was a puppet of Putin even though he authorized lethal aid to Ukraine. That’s right; the New York Times is to blame for working to get Trump elected.
