As Twitchy reported earlier this week, the crackdown on dissent proceeded apace with Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland saying that those who donated to the Freedom Convoy would have their bank accounts frozen (if they hadn’t been already). Cryptocurrency companies told Freeland where she could stick her threat.
It looks like Ottawa Police want to have their own January 6 FBI investigation, with interim Police Chief Steve Bell saying the investigation into the protests would go on “for months to come” and saying police would be using surveillance video to actively look for and track down participants so they could be sanctioned and charged criminally.

I don’t get it. So protests aren’t allowed? Or only certain ones? They were allowed to stop traffic on interstates here. In addition to burning down buildings. I don’t get it.

Charges are one thing, but sheesh going after peoples bank accounts….. that’s very CCP and makes no sense. Sets a terrible precedent.

It’s astounding to see what Canada and Australia have been able to do in the name of keeping people “safe” from COVID-19.
Losing a lot of faith and trust in this country ☹️
