Whenever we see a video of a young person being trained in gun safety, we usually think it’s pretty awesome — a 9-year-old girl who knows how to handle a semiautomatic rifle is pretty badass; better, at least, than the grown New York Daily News writer who claimed firing an AR-15 at the range gave him “temporary PTSD” and made him physically sick.
Ron Filipkowski found a video of a young girl firing a rifle at the range and wanted the Founding Fathers to see it, just to see how it would have affected their drafting of the Second Amendment.
I’d like to go back and show ‘The Founders’ this, during their debate at the Constitutional Convention over the 2nd Amendment, and see if it would have turned out differently. pic.twitter.com/ko1kd5kcpA

Hey, it’s mom:
Hey Ron. I'm the mother of the 9yo you shared with your condescension and nearly 300k followers without my permission in violation of Twitters new rule. You could at least give me the courtesy of tagging me…And FTR…They would have asked us to leave a few 3D printers for them. https://t.co/byr2iuuxTb

What is wrong with teaching a young person to correctly handle and respect a firearm? I'll wait.

Father and daughter spending time together and enjoying a fun, safe activity that teaches her safe and responsible gun handling.
Verdict: WHOLESOME.

Unfortunately, the Twitter rules usually only get applied in one direction so RON is off the hook.

Honestly, I don't agree with Twitter's new rule. I don't support censorship and that's why I didn't report. I do, however, think if the goal of this is to fight misinformation, he should be required to post the original tweet with the video giving full context to the situation.

The founding fathers did exactly this with their kids, the only difference is the weapon they were using.

Imagine if the Founders had been shown Filipkowski’s Twitter timeline while drafting the First Amendment.
