Vice President Kamala Harris had a “gaffe-free” week overseas, according to Bloomberg News’ Jennifer Jacobs, although it wasn’t without cringe, such as when she appeared to adopt a French accent to speak to a group of French researchers as if they were toddlers.
New York Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers had an amusing anecdote to share that featured the second gentleman:
At a French cookware store, VP says the Second Gentleman learned how to cook during covid. “She taught me during covid. Out of necessity. After I almost burned down the apartment,” he adds.
