As Twitchy reported earlier, reporter and commentator Drew Hernandez’s videos taken in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25th, 2020 were the focus of part of the Rittenhouse trial Thursday. You might recall that prosecutor Thomas Binger thought that Hernandez’s videos were “very slanted against the people who were rioting.”
Here’s more from Binger. Hernandez calls himself a journalist and a political commentator, and Binger tried to discredit Hernandez over a tweet he sent, asking if it’s usual for a journalist to interject their opinion into a story.
Binger kept asking Drew Hernandez how he could have an opinion if he was a journalist.
It's like he just woke up from a coma and never had the chance to discover anything written in CNN, MSNBC, Huffington Post, Washington Post or the New York Times.— Rising serpent 🇺🇸 (@rising_serpent) November 11, 2021

What a pathetic attempt by Binger to discredit Drew Hernandez—@DrewHLive’s reaction is priceless. pic.twitter.com/pX0uKBEqkC

The "curb your" meme potential from this whole trial is a goddamn goldmine

Embarrassing
— Daniel Novak (@Harbordan) November 11, 2021
I guess Binger doesn't watch the news anymore or follow any blue check mark with "Journalist" in their profile.

it's 2021, "journalists" only give their opinions, no facts

Literally all journalists interject personal opinion.

It’s so funny. @cnn does this on a daily basis.

Like that compilation video we have of CNN’s “King of Truth” Jake Tapper reporting that Jacob Blake, who had a knife, was unarmed?
Doesn't mean it's opinion… It means those are the facts as they appear 🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/SyRF6H0ZBg

So now we’re all aware Binger doesn’t know that fires are dangerous nor the definition of “apparently”. Did he get his law degree in a back alley in Reno or something?
— FG (@FG1342761) November 11, 2021
And you, Mr. Binger, are "apparently" not a good prosecutor.
— Zachary Muncy (@zpmuncy) November 11, 2021
Come on Binger. Drew was "apparently" wearing his commentator cap.

Drew should have said "Do you ever watch CNN?"
— Weebles Wobble (@shudsonpark) November 11, 2021
"That's not what journalists do." Have you SEEN mainstream journalists in recent years, Binger? That's ALL they do.

I’ve never seen someone be so bad at their job.

Should have said 'just like the detective and prosecutors jumped to a conclusion about what happened without investigating'

Just like members of Congress, who are supposed to be familiar with due process and the law, tweeted last summer that Rittenhouse was a white supremacist domestic terrorist.”
Bonus: Here’s the judge losing it after Binger tries to make it sound shady that Hernandez retained a lawyer:
When you have absolutely nothing to discredit the witness so you start attacking them for getting a lawyer. Judge smackdown is incredible here. #Rittenhouse pic.twitter.com/zuX0CcgSEW

"what's the relevance of this?"
"your honor we've heard from other p-"
"what's the relevance of THIS?"
