Secretary of State Tony Blinken urges US embassies to honor Black Lives Matter movement on anniversary of George Floyd's death

Human Events is out with an exclusive report Monday saying that a memo leaked to them encourages all U.S. embassies to honor the Black Lives Matter movement on Tuesday, the anniversary of George Floyd’s death. The memo reads, in part: “The [State] Department supports the use of the term ‘Black Lives Matter’ in messaging content, speeches, and other diplomatic engagements with foreign audiences to advance racial equity and access to justice on May 25 and beyond. We encourage posts to focus on the need to eliminate systemic racism and its continued impact.”

You know all those people always reminding us that there’s a difference between the Black Lives Matter movement and the Black Lives Matter organization? There isn’t. Good thing embassies are buying banners from the source so that co-founder Patrice Cullors can add another room to one of her mansions.

What riots? There was only one riot, on January 6. At least that’s what the mainstream media assures us. Look at how The Intercept took down Townhall’s Julio Rosas for actually going to places like Minneapolis and Kenosha with a camera just to make the looting and arson look bad.

Black Lives Matter of course came out in solidarity with Palestinians to support Palestinian liberation, saying it is “committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms.” Will the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem be flying the Black Lives Matter banner?
