There’s really not too much to add to this ACLU tweet declaring that trans children are perfect the way they are. If that’s true, it ends a lot of conversations about hormone blockers and sex-change surgery for minors.
So why do children need hormone replacement therapy and puberty blockers? pic.twitter.com/COZn7oZiVD

Amazing own goal.

The irony ?

Yeah, they walked right Into that one.
It's actually really horrible how we're teaching them they need surgery to be the best version.
Imagine explaining to soldiers who landed at D-day that modern society was struggling with medically preventing puberty for children who optout

Wow they are so woke they’ve gone full circle
— manzgringa (@LieeManzur) March 27, 2021
Too much logic for the internet

I know what you mean — but the way this is worded, it defends a point I don't *think* you're trying to make. ???♂️

It is difficult to teach self acceptance whilst also supporting puberty blockers, binders, hormone injections, mastectomys, hysterectomys and being a medical patient for the rest of your life.
You could almost say there was a slight contradiction there.

Great! So no need to perform dangerous and sterilizing surgical procedures. Glad we had this conversation
— Jonathan Kay (@jonkay) March 27, 2021
Agreed. So no blockers!
— James Bond (@ZABLACKWOLF) March 27, 2021
I don’t think this makes the point you think it does.
— WeeHalfPint (@weehalfpintt) March 27, 2021
i agree, end the expectation of irreversible treatments.
— Rancidius " Maximus Putridious " Potatodopoulos (@RancidPotato) March 28, 2021
Yes children are perfect just the way they are born.
— Sharon Fraser ?? (@SharonDFraser) March 28, 2021
Great point!! So there’s no need to give them hormone blockers.
— Nomad (@rad_nomad) March 27, 2021
No interventions necessary then.
— Fifilapoo Fifilapoo (@FFifilapoo) March 27, 2021
This backfired
— gendered animal (@kovacs_journal) March 27, 2021
Oh my god the self own of the year goes to… ??????
— Stephie (@Stephiephipho) March 27, 2021
Totally agree. No need for medication or surgery.

— Jessica (@JessMMac92) March 27, 2021
Then leave them alone.
— Electric, I. (@encyclopath) March 28, 2021
Exactly. So leave their growing bodies healthy and intact.
— MissusKay (@MissusKay) March 27, 2021
Totally agree. Let’s shower them with love and acceptance, not radical and untested drug and surgical interventions
