After he tweeted “Vote for Trump,” Chelsea Handler quickly reminded rapper and ex-boyfriend 50 Cent that “he was a black person” and therefore could not realistically vote for President Trump. Handler later said that he wasn’t being serious and was just “screwing around” when he tweeted his support for the president.
You might know that rapper Ice Cube has been working with Trump, who has incorporated pieces of the Contract with Black America into what he’s calling the Platinum Plan, which would “increase access to capital in black communities by almost $500 billion” by creating 500,000 black-owned businesses and 3 million new jobs for the black community.
And of course, there was Trump working with Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian West on criminal justice reform.
Now we have rapper Lil Wayne emerging from a meeting with Trump and praising his progress on criminal justice reform and the Platinum Plan.
Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done. ?? pic.twitter.com/Q9c5k1yMWf

Read the replies to this.
Seems like the only "socially acceptable" bigotry and racism you commonly hear in this country anymore is directed at black Americans who disagree with @theDemocrats. https://t.co/Q9Sc5UzFrD

For decades, the Steve Schmidts of the world guide the GOP, and they completely ignore minority communities.
Those guys are finally gone, and the GOP immediately begins reaching out to minority communities.
