President Trump’s speech at the United Nations Tuesday earned bit of praise for Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell from LGBTQ sportswriter Cyd Zeigler. If you remember, it was in February that the Trump administration launched a global effort to end the criminalization of homosexuality, an effort to be led by Grenell, who recently called out Iran and our European allies over the public hanging of a gay man.
So proud of the work Ambassador @RichardGrenell is doing to decriminalize homosexuality around the world, and glad to see @POTUS endorsing that effort at the UN today. I hope Ric's diplomacy on this is wildly successful and saves lives.
