Here’s a bit of weirdness. It was only this month that New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who, according to those leaked John Podesta emails, never disappointed the Hillary Clinton campaign as they teed up stories for her to run with, pulled out a deal to write a book about President Trump. Did her research up to this point give her some insight into Trump that the rest of us haven’t seen?
After Trump tweeted the other day that he’s always said American wine is better than French wine, the Los Angeles Times’ Eli Stokols reminded us that Trump doesn’t drink.

Got any proof he does? That’s the way to go…Facts are so exhausting.

this isn’t journalism and it’s utter garbage for you to suggest he’s lying about being a teetotaler because you don’t like him

Are you saying he does?

Maggie Haberman is the Clinton's go-to journo when they want to plant a positive or negative story in the press.

Well, used to be, when she worked at POLITICO:

Are you kidding, Maggie? I thought you couldn't get any lower, but apparently you've got depths of garbage in your soul.

This is a crap tweet. If you know otherwise, report it. That would be your actual job.

If you have no proof or evidence or sources saying otherwise this is a blatant smear

Dem strategist: what can we do to keep people from voting for Trump
Hack journalist: he says *air quotes* “he doesn’t drink” *air quotes*
Dem strategist: That is it!!! Trump doesn’t drink!! This will change people’s minds!!!— Sweltering Curmudgeon – Andrew Young (@NucMM1retired) July 27, 2019
President Trump has been in the public eye since the 70s – attending parties, receptions, dinners, and galas; dining out so much we joke about ketchup on well done steak – and there's not one photo of the man sipping an alcoholic beverage, nor one lurid tale of drunkenness. ?

Maggie says she’s a ‘journalist’.

“Trump says he doesn’t drink… but does he? We’ll hear from his fellow cast members on the next episode!”
Journalism filtered through Trump’s reality TV-style approach isn’t journalism at all. It’s theater, and it’s damaging to the country.
